Krystian Kowalski
Kid's Stool, 2010

The initial concept was to create an item of furniture combining the semantic codes that inspire a child's imagination with a solid, structural form. The elephant stool's form follows function, however the constructional elements accentuate its animalistic character. The stool's stackability and different heights make it an ideal furniture solution for nurseries and kindergartens, however its abstract form makes it an endearing stool for general use.

Less Table, 2009

My idea was to design an easily assembled flat-pack table. The frame is made of simple and easily accessible materials like metal rods, bars and tubes. The tabletop is made of ash wood planks.
