L.O.F.T Furniture - Workstation, 2009
Adjustable furniture designed to fit limited space as well as to create a cosy place in high-ceilinged conversion flats. It delivers the feel of privacy and cosiness, shrink space and with additional accessories acts as a flexible skeleton for different living/working functions in contemporary, limiting, fast changing city living. Additional accessories are: wedged shelving, boards, screens and containers or attachable curtains and lighting. Everything may be assembled without tools by one person.
The entire furniture and its elements are made of beech wood, plywood, steel, aluminium and fabric. Elements of the structure can be slid along rails to find the required position and can be revolved around the centre pillar. Accessories to be wedged, tied or hooked on the construction elements which makes rearranging fast and easy. Grooves in the structure are the cable management features to avoid keeping it on the floor. Excellent woodwork makes the furniture look exceptional.
